Eckstrand Family Farm-8X10

On a very hot mid summer day I stopped to paint this lovely farm site just west of our home. I’ve always enjoyed this perfectly kept traditional farm site. I enjoyed such a wonderful afternoon, hiding under the shade of a tree to capture this old barn. One of the family members stoped by to visit and see my progress. The subsequently purchased this painting from me. The original red of the barn and wonderful back drop of a ripening bright yellow canola field sparked my creative juices!
