One Frosty Morning – 24 X 32

This piece was inspired from a walk on our farm. It had been frosty for several days and the hoar frost was just thick on this small aspen cluster along our roadway. I did a small 6 X 6 of it and loved it so much I wanted to re create it on a larger scale. Oil and cold wax allows for such a cool creative expression. It allows for lots of texture and the ability to create soft edges as well. This piece is powerful yet it simply whispers of it’s natural divine beauty.
