- This was a super fun piece to create on location on a sweet little lake in Montana. So fun to listen to children playing in the water below me as I painted out on a deck. It was late August and a beauful warm day. I lovely yellow lab pup came and visited me for a little bit as well. Which was cool as my dog at home was a yellow lab and this pup so reminded me of our Duchess.
