I love this piece, it just glows. It was a view believe it or not, out my kitchen window that faces west out onto the Alberta prairies. Our big prairie skies are so inspiring. I’m currently exploring and pushing my creative edge into more of an abstracted landscape style.
This lovely magical moment was captured during an early morning walk in the ski resort area of Panarama,BC. I took the photo and came back to my condo and immediately painted it.
This was inspired and painted while visiting Panarama BC. During my time there it was smoky and gave such a wonderful warm glow to the sky and interesting atmospheric elements.
