This piece was created on the second day of painting at the annual Rosebud Plein Air event in Sept. I loved this farm site and wanted to painted for several years. It is so well kept and reminiscent of small family farms in days-gone-by, yet still operating. The interesting rolling hills behind the farm yard really adds an unique element. I painted this one from inside my car as it was pouring rain that afternoon. In between the wipers working and listening to some worship music, I stayed warm but did find it a challenge to paint in such close quarters.
