Cool Waters-12X16

I painted this in a small version plein air from the seat of my vehicle parked on the shoreline at Lake Koocanusa, Montana. Then I used that to create this larger version in my studio. I loved the cool colour of the water and the interesting shorelines with sand banks covered in snow.
