This piece was created in Montana, on a wonderful hot summers day. There was smoke in the air from near by fires that created a hazy view all around this scene. This is a favourite hammock that I’ve enjoyed many a lazy summer day. My daughter bought this on a trip to Mexico when she was a teen. I set up in the shade and was thinking of my favourite Canadian artist Tom Thompson, who I’ve always tried to emulate.
