This painting was created looking east from my studio window on a rainy home day, thus the name. I have amazing views from my studio of the prairie landscape and we are on a coulee as well. The yellow of the glowing canola field always captures my eye. The beauty is just outside our windows but often we are too busy to stop and really look. This one came together so easily and had a happy result.
