Iconic Moment – 24 X 32

This was a must do image that I captured while kayaking on the dreamy Lake Louise, a couple of years ago. I so enjoy my visits there in every season. It’s simply an awe inspiring area of our Rocky Mountains. It is only a couple hours away from my home and I just can’t get there enough. I’ve painted many paintings some even en Plein Air of this setting but non like this one. Being on the lake and up close to the glacier area on water that was just like glass was a dream. This image of the rental canoe thats also symbolic of Lake Louise,  just had to be incorporated into the painting.
