Painted on location on the shores of Victoria Lake in the Yoho National Park. During a plein air event I was juried into with the Whyte Museum in Banff. The beauty in this area just takes your breath away. I was alone at this lake and so enjoyed the still quiet and simply ravelled in this perfect afternoon of painting. The teal blue water, the mountains with a touch of snow and the Larch trees beginning to change to their golden yellow.
